The fresh wild Halibut filets in our stores right now are fabulous, Halibut is delicious whether baked, sautéed, grilled, or broiled and I can’t get enough of it! My personal favorite recipe is Halibut with Leeks and Spinach! The prep is easy and don’t count on having leftovers because there will be clean plates! One thing I do not enjoy when preparing fish is removing the skin from the fish and our staff at the chefs counter will remove the skin for you if you ask them. If you’re looking to spice things up try fresh Halibut in a fish taco and chunky guacamole of course! All of our recipes are on our website www.festivalfoods.net on our cooking page. Our ham is twice smoked over hard wood and fully cooked, simply bake covered with foil in a  325 degree oven for approximately 15 minutes per pound until the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees. If you prefer to glaze – try this yummy Cranberry Maple Glaze recipe! Our five pound pans of Au Gratin or my personal favorite – Cheesy Potatoes made in our Delis complement that awesome double smoked ham or Prime Rib or Leg of Lamb! These and many other holiday favorites are available for order on line to make your meal planning easy.
