Cold weather – warm comfort food
Looking at our weather forecast this week, it seems like we need to serve up some comfort food. In our house that is usually soup or a hotdish! Our Hearty Italian Soup doesn’t take much time but it is rich in flavor, majority of the flavor comes from our fresh Italian sausage; made only at Festival Foods, we prefer the “hot” version of sausage for use in the soup, whatever you do don’t forget the mozzarella for the topping. Serve the Hearty Italian soup by itself or with a small green salad and a baguette; either way it is an easy dinner to put on the table. A Fa(boo)lous Halloween
We’ve got some scary good food to make your BOOFFET perfect with some of our delicious prepared foods and recipes! Mini Ham Sandwiches should be on your menu because you can make them a day ahead and just pop them in the oven before your guests arrive. Don’t be surprised if they are the first thing to go! If you’re a little more adventurous how about making Booofalo Chicken Sliders using our Buffalo Burger recipe, a tasty slider with a little kick. Our Killer Artichoke Bread is to die for! A really easy recipe with excellent flavor your guest will love. Sloppy Joes are another great comfort food to make ahead of time and re-heat to serve. Festive Fright Night
Halloween is one of our favorite holidays and we have gathered some of our favorite products for a Festive Fright Night gathering. Our Chef Ryan video for Halloween, The Feast of Fools has some ideas for some scary treats of Witches Fingers and Creepy Chocolate Spiders and an easy recipe for Sloppy (Spooky) Joes. One of our spooky appetizers sure to please is our BOOfalo Chicken Dip, the same great flavor as buffalo wings with a delicious cheese sauce.
