If you follow my blog, you are probably aware that I recently wrote a post about Grilled Jalapeno Poppers.  They are a great appetizer, a fun dish for a BBQ or cookout, and are full of flavor and spice!  I recently made a vegan version of the same grilled jalapeno popper recipe and want to share it with you today. Jalapeno Poppers are essentially hollowed out jalapenos that are stuffed with cheese (non-dairy cheese in this case) and spices, are frequently breaded (we are skipping this step), and either fried, baked, or grilled to perfection.  They are a guaranteed crowd pleaser! I had a craving recently for something spicy and cheesy…. something with big flavor that wouldn’t be a dish I’ve had in the past or one of our standard weeknight meals.  Jalapenos were the first thing to cross my mind, so I started getting creative and settled on Jalapeno Popper Dip and Cheesy Jalapeno Turkey Sliders. Jalapeno Popper Dip is very similar to Jalapeno Poppers but in dip form with the jalapenos mixed in.  If you love Jalapeno Poppers, you’re going to love this Jalapeno Popper Dip!  There is plenty of cheese and diced jalapenos in each bite, and the breadcrumbs on top adds a little crunch that brings the whole dip together.  It’s the perfect party appetizer! Are you ready for some football? Getting together with family and friends on the weekend is a fun and spirited way to celebrate fall while cheering on your favorite team. There are so many games to watch and plenty of creative food options to choose from. We are gearing up for the big Viking / Packer game this weekend so I wanted to share some of our favorite football snacks. These were a hit for past games so I’m sure there will be some repeats for the game this weekend!   With Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans we thought a Muffuletta Sandwich might be on your menu. This recipe for Muffuletta sandwich with Olive salad is a hearty sandwich with lots of tradition, our recipe is for individual Mufulletta sandwiches but if you wish you can use a round loaf of bread and make one large sandwich and cut into servings.
