Walking Taco Recipe

Serves 6


Ingredients:

1 lb Lean Ground Beef, crumbled, browned and drained
1 package Taco Seasoning Mix, (Low Sodium works too)
2 tablespoons Water
1 can Kuners Black Beans, drained, (15 oz.)
6 individual bags of Doritos Chips, (12 oz bags)
Shredded Lettuce
Diced Tomatoes
Diced Avocados
Sour Cream
Salsa or Taco Sauce
Any Additional Topping you like to put on tacos or taco salad, like olives, onions, shredded cheddar cheese, etc.

Directions:

  1. Cook the ground beef until brown and at least 160 degrees internal temperature. Drain, then add the taco seasoning, water, and black beans. Heat through.
  2. Gently take each bag of chips and crush them inside the bag. Once the chips are crushed, cut open the top or tear open carefully. Scoop in some taco meat and bean mixture into the bag with the chips.
  3. Create Your Walking Talking your own way by adding the toppings of your choice. Then either stir with a spoon or tightly hold the top of the bag closed and shake lightly to mix up the ingredients.
  4. Kids of all ages love these Walking Tacos, great for Big Games, Graduation, Slumber Parties, Dinner on the Go or just about any time you want to have some FUN with dinner!
